Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) again presented, inaugurated its best graduates (48 new vets) and took their oaths in the Auditorium of J. Huttasoit, Faculty of Animal Husbandry IPB, (20 / 4).

One representative of the new vets said after the official inauguration of becoming animal doctors that it is the starting point of the struggle and implementing their knowledge as well as embarking on the career in the field of veterinary profession.

"The challenges in the real world we face are the real test," said Vet. Muning Edi Swasono. Veterinary profession requires a nonstop learning, maintenance of attitude, improved self-discipline, professionalism, creativity and innovation in dealing with various problems in the future, he added.

On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) IPB, Prof.Dr.Drh. I Wayan Teguh Wibawan, MS cited several things to promote FKH IPB, namely, international accreditation , realization of zoonotic centers, researches particularly focused on solutions to problems faced by the society, optimized utilization of facilities to increase students’ skills and improved performance of income-generating units.

"Such issues can not be solved by a dean alone or individually without an integration of all potentials with the right direction focus based on mutual trust, common perceptions of the direction and goals to achieve together," he said. (Mtd)
