A Total of 32 Companies Participated in the IPB Job Fair 2025, Offering 121 Job Vacancies and Various Career Development Programs.
IPB University once again held the IPB Job Fair 2025 Batch 2 as a form of support for the career development of students and alumni. The event, held at Grha Widya Wisuda, IPB Dramaga Campus, featured 32 external partner companies and 5 internal partners, and opened up various career opportunities, internships, and scholarships (11/7).
Over the two days of the event, participants can take part in various activities such as career consultations, Industrial Insight sessions with inspiring speakers from the industry, and visiting company and partner booths offering job vacancies, internships, and scholarships. There are 121 job vacancies, 17 internships, and 9 scholarships available, as well as the participation of 76 IPB University student businesses in the Entrepreneur Expo.
The Director of Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Alumni Relations at IPB University, Dr Sukma Kamajaya, MM, said that this event was the second job fair in 2025 after the first batch in May.
She added that the IPB Job Fair is a strategic platform for students and alumni to prepare themselves for the world of work. This event facilitates the needs of prospective talents so that IPB University graduates become excellent resources who are ready to contribute to various companies.
“We also hope that feedback from graduate surveys can help improve the relevance of graduates to industry needs,” she explained.
As part of the event, Industrial Insight presented 11 partners who shared their experiences about careers and industry, including Great Giant Foods, MSD Indonesia, Amartha, Kalbe Nutritionals, FIF Group, Biotis, Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank Tabungan Negara, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Negara Indonesia, and Bank CIMB Niaga.
Meanwhile, nine partners held walk-in interview sessions, namely Great Giant Foods, Kalbe, Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara, Amartha, MSD Indonesia, BPR Universal, Bank Tabungan Negara, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and Bank Negara Indonesia.
Company representatives also expressed their appreciation for this event. Fadhil, a representative from Superindo, said that the atmosphere of this job fair was very memorable and interactive. “It was really exciting because the friends who participated in today’s job fair were very enthusiastic. I am happy to be able to share my work experience at Superindo,” she said.
Meanwhile, Sekar from Amartha also appreciated the facilities and support provided by IPB University during the event. “There were so many participants, so we felt more comfortable interacting with them. The facilities provided by IPB were also excellent, informative, and well-organized. It was awesome, thank you IPB!” she said.
Not only from the companies, but the job fair participants also expressed their positive impressions. Zakhi, a student from the Industrial Management Program, Vocational School, class of 58, shared his reasons for joining the event. “I want to learn more about several companies and be able to ask questions directly face to face,” he said.
Similarly, Damayanti from the Agribusiness Study Program class of 61 also considered this activity very beneficial. “There is a lot of information about jobs that can be obtained here, and there is even a booth for entrepreneurship. So it really broadens your horizons,” she said.
In this event, IPB University aims to support students’ passion for entrepreneurship by facilitating ventures with the potential to create new job opportunities. The enthusiasm of the participants and the support from corporate partners are clear evidence of the positive collaboration between the academic world and industry in supporting the career development of IPB University students and alumni.
