IPB Job Fair 2025 Opened, There are Hundreds of Job Vacancies, Internships to Opportunities for Further Studies and Scholarships

IPB University through the Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Alumni Relations again organized the IPB Job Fair Bact I 2025. This activity was held for two days (5/16-17) at Graha Widya Wisuda Building (GWW), IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor.

IPB Job Fair was present as a concrete form of supporting students and graduates to find a career path that suits their passion and competence. This activity is exclusive only for students and graduates of IPB University and is targeted to be attended by more than 3.000 participants from Undergraduate, Applied Undergraduate, to Postgraduate levels.

This activity presents more than 30 partner companies and institutions, dozens of internship positions, and scholarships. IPB Job Fair was also enlivened by 70 IPB University student businesses from the Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW), Startup School, and Student Innopreneur.

Partners participating in this activity include PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia; Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO); PT Bank Tabungan Negara; Enesis Group; PT Bank CIMB Niaga; PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero); PT Bank Syariah Indonesia; PT Bank Raya Indonesia; PT Federal International Finance (FIF Group); Paragon Corp; Bank Indonesia; PT Bintang Pelajar; PT Odoo Software Indonesia; PT Musim Mas; and Binus University Online.

There is also the Nusantara Nature Conservation Foundation; PT Superior Porcelain Sukses; Astra Credit Companies; PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha; PT Lion Super Indo; PT BFI Finance Indonesia; Land Bank Agency; MR DIY Indonesia (PT Niaga Indoguna Yasa); Investment and Business Agency; PPM School Management; Directorate of International Education; Erasmus; LPDP Village; Kesmawa Ditmawa; and Grow Office.

“I hope IPB Job Fair can provide information as well as encourage graduates to go further in taking part in various companies and institutions,” said Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria in his speech. 

In addition, he continued, IPB University is present to bridge the graduates who currently want to take part in various institutions, both government, private, and international institutions. 

On the same occasion, IPB University’s Vice Rector for Global Connectivity, Cooperation, and Alumni, Prof Iskandar Z Siregar, said that IPB University seriously prepares its students’ careers. 

The effort starts from the first year with talent mapping. In the second and third years, students can develop themselves through talent pools, both through academic, non-academic activities, student organizations, social projects, and others. At the final level, students will receive a talent assessment to determine their career tendencies before graduation.

“Employer reputation is one of the important indicators for universities in measuring the absorption rate of their graduates in the world of work. For this reason, IPB University continues to encourage the achievement of a good employer reputation,” said Prof Iskandar. 

Director of Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Alumni Relations of IPB University, drh Sukma Kamajaya, MM said the IPB Job Fair in May was the first. Next, the IPB Job Fair will be held in November.

“Alhamdulillah, the participation has increased from the previous implementation in November 2024. In terms of partners, there is an increase of about 20 percent. Likewise with the number of job vacancies available,” said Dr Sukma. 

She added, this IPB Job Fair activity also facilitates graduates who want to continue their studies with scholarship information and further study opportunities, as well as students who want to develop skills through professional internship programs. In addition, students who are interested in entrepreneurship are also given space for business promotion and collaboration.

“Speed in execution is the main key to success. Working correctly and swiftly is the foundation for achieving impactful results,” he concluded. (AS) (IAAS/LAN)
