This activity aims to educate students about the importance of a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) and introduce the surrounding natural ecosystem.
“We provide material about PHBS and ecosystems to students of SDN 02 Kadongdong. The material is delivered to each class with interactive and fun delivery so that it is easily understood by children,” said Arfian Puji Sulistiyo, a member of the KKNT Inovasi student team.
He elaborated, some of the important points conveyed in PHBS education include hygiene, food, and health. Through direct explanation and demonstration, students are invited to practice proper hand washing and the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene.
In addition, Puji said, students also provided an explanation of the ecosystem. Students were invited to understand the role of each component of the ecosystem, such as the introduction of ecosystems, types of ecosystems, animal groups, and the importance of forests for the survival of other living things.
