Eid al-Adha is always an exciting moment for everyone, especially Muslims. This year's Eid-ul-Adha celebration is the most awaited, because people have been able to return to sacrifice after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tegalwaru Village, Ciampea District, Bogor also has a unique event to commemorate Eid al-Adha, one of which is the Bedug Competition Festival. IPB University students who were taking part in the Innovation Community Service Program-Thematic (KKN-T) there also helped to make the event a success.

"We were invited to be one of the organizers in the festival event which was attended by all neighbourhood associations (RW) in Tegalwaru Village," said Salsa Fauziyyah Adni, one of the IPB University students.

The event presented M Rizky, a member of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Bogor Regency as well as an alumnus of IPB University batch 47. "Alhamdulillah, I can meet the younger siblings of one alma mater. I am very happy, because I am also an alumnus of IPB University. Hopefully you will feel at home in Tegalwaru and gain a lot of experience," he said in his speech.

The Bedug Competition Festival in Tegalwaru Village in 2023 won two goats for the two winning teams as well as cash prizes and certificates. Despite the rain, the event, which was held from 16.00 to 22.00 WIB, was lively and successful. All RWs were involved in the event and supporters gathered in the village field with enthusiasm.

Nuryadih, SAg as the chief organizer of the Festival thanked KKN-T Innovation IPB University colleagues for helping to make this event a success. "Thank you very much for the help from IPB University students. Hopefully your KKN will be blessed and get the pleasure of Allah. We really welcome your arrival in Tegalwaru Village," said the middle-aged man. (Salsa/Rz) (IAAS/NVA)
