IPB University Innovation KKN-T Students Improve IT Skills of Tlogorejo Village Community
Information technology (IT) skills are essential in the modern world. Technology is believed to increase efficiency in daily work. To improve the community’s skills in the IT field, IPB University’s Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKN-T) students held IT training in Tlogorejo Village, Kebumen, Central Java, at the village hall.
“Having IT skills can open up many career opportunities, from software developers to data analysis experts. It can also enable one to create innovative and creative solutions to existing problems,” said Hiqfitru Ahmady Putra as the resource person.
The IPB University student introduced the public to laptop operations and the introduction of keyboard key combination functions on laptops. He said, “Keyboard key combinations can help us complete projects quickly, such as using Ctrl+C to copy data, files, or others and Ctrl+V to paste.”
“For example, when we want to copy the text on the website and insert it into Microsoft Word, then we can use Ctrl+C to copy the text and Ctrl+V to move it into Microsoft Word,” he said when delivering the material.
KKN-T Innovation IPB University students also explained the application of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Canva applications. The material was presented sequentially by Muhammad Ramdan, Syifa Nuzullia Salsabiil, and Ninda Riska Amiati, IPB University students from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science.
The event received full appreciation from the village community, which was attended by youth, village officials, and mothers from the family welfare empowerment group (PKK). With the IT training that has been carried out, it is hoped that it can bring the community to adapt quickly to the rapid growth of technology. (Ninda/Rz) (IAAS/TNY)
