IPB Student Wins 1st Place in Kamakarya Photography Competition

Another remarkable achievement was gotten by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) student. Nadia Nur Ramadhni, an undergraduate student of Communication Science and Community Development Department, successfully won the first place in Kamakarya 2018 Photography Competition. The aforementioned competition is a national scale competition that was being held by Keluarga Mahasiswa Bidikmisi Gadjah Mada University (UGM) last April.

Interested in photography, Nadia tried to join a competition with "Business Development Via Digital" theme. "When the announcement was given, alhamdulillah I broke to the top 8. Aside from judges' assessment, the winner of the photography competition was also determined by the amount of 'like' in Instagram. Therefore, I asked for the support of my parents and actively asked my friends to help me get as many like as possible for my photo, and alhamdulillah I became the winner," said the girl that originally comes from Jakarta.

In her photo work, Nadia showed the illustration of current business by making business strategy by doodles. This reflects the creative soul and vivid imagination of a student. The photo attracted the judges' attention, making itself a way to become the first winner of Kamakarya 2018 Photography Competition. The second place went to UGM student, and the favourite place was won by State University Semarang (UNNES) student. (UNA/Zul)
