IPB Security Personnel Depart for Umroh as Winner of Japas IPB 2017 Grandprize

The grateful expression was unceasingly delivered by Mochamad Subur from the Campus Security Unit (UKK) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). On March 3, 2018, he departed for umroh, after previously succeeded in becoming one of the winners of the Healthy Morning Walk (Japas) 2017 Grandprize in the 54th IPB Anniversary.

"Alhamdulillah, I am very happy.This is my retirement gift," said Subur. Yes, his departure for this umroh, coinciding with his retirement as a security guard in IPB.

As known, in commemoration of the 54th Anniversary, IPB held Japas 2017 on September 17, 2017 at Dramaga IPB Campus, Bogor. The 10 thousand participants started Japas from the Rectorate Building of Andi Hakim Nasoetion and ended at IPB Gymnasium with Umroh as the grand prize of Japas 2017.

Secretary of Dies Natalis IPB-54, Dr. Soni Trison, said, umroh prize is given by IPB with its sponsor in order to share the happiness among IPB academic community at the IPB Dies Natalis the 54th. Thus will encourage a sense of kinship as a form of blessing given by Allah SWT. "Through this moment it is hoped that goodness can be given by building awareness among IPB residents as a whole, both lecturers, education staff, and students," he said.

Dr. Soni had the opportunity to escort Mr. Subur to Soekarno Hatta Airport. "Hopefully Mr. Subur's trip is blessing and mabrur, and we can continue to spread the goodness as much as possible according to IPB's motto, namely, Searching and Serving the Best," he added. (TK)
