Pursuing Global Connectivity, IPB University Strengthens Education and Research Cooperation with Charles University and the Czech University of Life Science
IPB University is again flapping its wings in expanding international cooperation with Eastern European countries. This moment was seen at the courtesy visit event conducted by the Vice Rector of IPB University for Research, Innovation and Agromaritime Development, Prof Ernan Rustiadi to two major campuses in the Czech Republic, namely Charles University and Czech University of Life Science (CZU). The courtesy visit was carried out as a strategic step of IPB University in strengthening education, research and international cooperation.
“We want to continue to strengthen global connectivity between IPB University and world universities, especially in terms of implementation and strengthening research collaboration, joint publications, and opportunities for international mobility activities for teaching staff and students,” said Prof Ernan.
The collaboration between IPB University and CZU itself has been initiated since 2012 through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the rectors of both universities.
Meanwhile, the visit to Charles University this time was specifically in order to initiate cooperation between IPB University and the oldest university in the Czech Republic, which was founded in 1348.
The initiation of this collaboration was welcomed by the Vice Rector for International Relations, Prof Eva Voldrichova Berankova and the Director of International Relations, Charles University Mgr Vratislav Kozak, who on that occasion was present to receive the visit of the IPB University group.
