In order to enrich knowledge about sustainable business strategies and take lessons from Japan's success in facing challenges, as many as 32 students of the Doctoral Program in Management and Business (DMB) of the School of Business (SB) of IPB University held international study activities through visits and discussions with various related institutions in Japan, (14-19/5).

These visits included educational institutions such as Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo Nodai) and United Nations University (UNU), government agencies such as Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF), as well as a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Tokyo.

This allows students to share knowledge, experiences and innovative ideas in an effort to build effective sustainable business strategies in the future.

"Through meetings with fellow doctoral students and professionals in Japan, SB IPB University students can broaden their horizons about the research culture, education system and culture of the local community. This provides a strong foundation for students to become globally oriented business leaders and scientists," Widi added.
