IPB University through Career Development and Assessment (CDA) held a General Study in the context of career provision for prospective graduates of IPB University Phase V Academic Year 2022/2023, (15/5). Taking place at the Andi Hakim Nasoetion Auditorium, Dramaga Campus of IPB, this activity presented two speakers, namely Aang Permana and Ismet Ali, ATP, ACP.

Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof drh Deni Noviana said, this debriefing aims to provide various kinds of insight to prospective graduates who will be graduated.

"In line with the policy of the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM), IPB University is also developing the K-2020 curriculum. This provides an opportunity for students to study outside the study program for six months in a total of 20 semester credit units (SKS).

Ismet Ali, ATP, ACP as Master Coach 3C Virtual Human Capital added, graduates of IPB University must become young talents that the world needs. Moreover, the world is currently in the era of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA).

On that occasion, Aang Permana, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Crispy Ikan Sipetek was present as a guest speaker. In front of prospective alumni of IPB University, he recounted his actions in starting a career.

"In 2014, I decided to resign from a well-known company in Indonesia to return home and start a business through sipetek fish. I want to be a person who spreads benefits to the people in the village. Moreover, the business that I started was related to my studies at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) IPB University," said Aang.

He explained tips on starting a business for young people. The way to do this is by going out to meet micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and observing their potential. "Look at the potential, in terms of packaging design or product variants, is there a new model?" he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Alumni Relations of IPB University who is also Secretary General of the Alumni Association (HA) of IPB University, drh Sukma Kamajaya conveyed several tracer study objectives, including first, to identify graduate profiles and examine the relevance of curriculum implementation to the needs of the job market. Second, get data on the development of alumni performance in the world of work. Third, identify company profiles of graduate users. Fourth, the availability of career data and graduate performance periodically every year.
