Holding Upscaling of Researchers in the Field of Agricultural and Environmental Policy, PSP3 IPB University Encourages Writers to Do National Publications
The Center for Agricultural and Rural Development Studies (PSP3) IPB University together with the Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Policy Studies (JRKPL) held a training on the topic “Upscaling Researchers in the Field of Agricultural and Environmental Policy for National Publication”, recently.
Dr Widyastutik as Secretary of PSP3 IPB University said, this training was intended to increase participants’ insight into the scope of publication, especially in national journals. “JRKPL is currently being managed by PSP3 IPB University in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Agricultural Economics (Perhepi),” she said while moderating the training.
Dr drh Fitriya Nur Annisa Dewi, Assistant Director of Global Connectivity of IPB University in the field of International Collaboration and Networking Board as a speaker said, IPB University has opened programs and services to support the increase in scientific publications for the community.
“The Directorate of Strategic Studies and Academic Reputation (DKaSRA) IPB University has a Publication House that lecturers, researchers and students can use. The Publication House is here to be able to improve the quality and quantity of publications in the form of scientific publication workshops, manuscript coaching, article processing charge (APC) assistance and so on,” said Dr Fitriya.
The training participants came from different backgrounds, both students and lecturers from IPB University and other tertiary institutions. Some of them already have articles that have the opportunity to be published by JRKPL. Therefore, on this occasion an elaboration of the steps for submitting to the JRKPL website was also carried out.
Dr Kaswanto as Chief Editor of JRKPL was also present. He said, currently JRKPL had been registered with Garuda and indexed Dimensions and Elton B Stephens Company (EBSCO). JRKPL is published three times a year, namely in April, August and December.
“JRKPL is now also in the process of applying for Science and Technology Index (Sinta) accreditation, so that this journal can be used as a forum for academics or stakeholders to publish their scientific articles,” he added.
Apart from that, said Dr Kaswanto, training participants were also encouraged to be able to immediately finish writing and upload articles online on the JRKPL website with the link https://ipb.university/jrkpl-ipb. (*/Rz) (IAAS/DSR)
