UGM and IPB University Public Relations and Protocol Personnel Meet

A number of staff from the Public Relations and Protocol Section, Secretariat of the Chancellor of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) visited IPB University. The visit was received at the Chancellor’s Meeting Room, Dramaga Campus of IPB, Bogor, 14/3.

The delegations who visited included the Chancellor’s Secretary, Wirastuti Widyatmanti, PhD, Head of Protocol Subdivision, Haryanto, SE, MM and staff as well as Head of Administrative and Household Subdivision, Farida Yuliani, SS and staff.

The Chair of the IPB University Communication Bureau, Ir Yatri Indah Kusumastuti welcomed IPB University, a people’s campus that always strives to be an innovation campus, a campus that is open to the community. “What has been achieved by IPB University cannot be separated from the enthusiasm to always learn,” she said.

Furthermore, Ir Yatri introduced the leadership and staff under the Communications Bureau. She explained the latest developments related to changes in the organizational structure and work procedures (SOTK) which are being prepared after the rector inauguration in January 2023.

Secretary of the rector, Wirastuti Widyatmanti, PhD, conveyed that her visit to IPB University was for benchmarking as well as gaining insight into public relations and the rector’s protocol and secretariat.

“We want to dig up information about the processes carried out by IPB University so that we can make many achievements, especially in the field of public relations. Through this visit, hopefully there will be collaboration between universities, especially IPB University and UGM in terms of public relations, protocol and secretariat of the chancellor,” she added.

She pointed out the importance of collaboration between universities so that they go global, by learning from each other and supporting each other. In addition, she hopes that every tertiary institution can always side by side, regardless of the awards each has won.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Division of IPB University, Siti Nuryati, STP MSi said that in every competition event, her party tries to participate. “By doing so, we will know the capacity we have. In addition, what we convey in the document is what we do. By participating in the competition, we understand and evaluate it,” she said.

The Head of the IPB University Leadership Secretariat, Iyum Rumbiyah, SE said, “Protocol activities at IPB University are carried out with the support of staff who continue to actively coordinate well.
