IPB University School of Business and Shizenkan University are Establish a Collaboration
Dr Idqan Fahmi, the Acting Dean of Business School (SB) IPB University, and Dr Siti Jahroh, Chair of the International Cooperation Commission SB IPB University accompanied by Prof Yusli Wardiatno, Education Attache at the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) Tokyo visited Shizenkan University in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, Japan, (7/3). The delegation was welcomed by Prof Tomoyoshi Noda, Dr Junichi Kagaya, and Mr Derrick Tran.
Aside from being a lecturer at Shizenkan University, Dr Kagaya is also the Managing Director, Head of Executive Education-Asian, at IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain. On this occasion, Dr Kagaya explained about IESE and also the developments in the implementation of online lectures that are being carried out.
After that, Prof Noda explained the history of Shizenkan University with the uniqueness of the programs offered. One of them is the “whole person” approach which emphasizes an individual approach, which means that a person apart from working in the business world is also part of society.
"SB-IPB University and Shizenkan University have collaborated in terms of conducting online lectures, such as the Future of Capitalism, Global Management Strategy and Organization, and Leadership," said Dr Idqan Fahmi.
Apart from discussions, he added, SB-IPB University and the Graduate School of Leadership and Innovation, Shizenkan University signed a Letter of Intent. "This collaboration was signed by me as the Acting Dean of SB-IPB University and Prof Tomoyoshi Noda as Chair of GSU Shizenkan University. Opportunities for cooperation that can be carried out in the future are lecturer exchanges and the formation of special classes for Japanese companies in Indonesia and Asia," he explained.
