Bazoqa Returns with Hundreds of Decorative Fishes in Agrimart II Plaza
Aquaculture Student Organization (Himakua) of IPB University held the annual Bazaar of Aquaculture (Bazoqa). Bazoqa is a temporary marketplace for decorative fishes and aquascape held in Agrimart II’s plaza, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor for a whole week (30/3-7/4). This year’s Bazoqa carried on the theme “Beauty of Exotic Fish and Aquascape” and presented various decorative fishes, turtles, plants and mini aquascape decorations with affordable prices.
There were various popular decorative fishes such as neon tetras, guppies, mollies, orandas, and betta fishes. There were also predator decorative fishes such as chitalas, palmas, alligator gars, and ompoks. For reptiles, there were brazilian turtles for sale along with the aquarium. Besides those, there were also mini aquascapes sold with sand, decorative plants, stones, and roots.
“Bazoqa was held to improve the entrepreneurship of Aquaculture Department students, especially regarding decorative fishes and aquascape. Bazoqa also aims to expand the perspective of society so that they know that business in decorative fishes and aquascape has a good prospective ,” said Naufal Fattir, the convener.
A lecturer from Department of Aquaculture, Fajar Maulana, S.Pi, M.Si in his greeting said that aquaculture has a purpose to increase profit of student entrepreneurs through Bazoqa. (Ard)
