Student Welfare Forum (Forkesmah) is a forum that is established as an effort to increase students’ knowledge in students advocation in IPB University optimally and massively. This forum can be a bridge in student’s welfare problems.

“Student Welfare is not only about economy and food, it caters all interrelated aspects that searches for meaning in the ‘welfare’ word. Therefore, let’s care for each other and implement small steps that have mutual benefits, “said Yulian Hadi, Minister of Student Welfare, Student Executive Board of Student Families, IPB Univesity (BEM KM IPB) 2019, Tuesday (3/26)  at IPB Dramaga Campus.

“In its implementation, welfare services, both academic, economic and health, each have a bureaucratic flow. “Bureaucracy is needed to ensure that authority is ensured only by those who are assigned so that accountability is clear,” Yulian explained.

“Educational administration involves bureaucracy and documentation carried out to keep the educational process organized from deviating from the applicable rules. “All bureaucratic and administrative issues concerning academic issues at IPB range from information on service facilities to the curriculum of the undergraduate education program of IPB that has been summarized in full in the Guidance Book of the Undergraduate Education Program,” said Head of Sub Directorate of Education Planning and Information, Directorate of Education and Reception Administration New Students IPB, Suratni, SE, MM

In order to ease all form of bureaucracy and student services, this year IPB University forms a centred student service unit called Student Service Center (SSC) that was just inaugurated last month. SSC is located next to the Andi Hakim Nasution Auditorium, IPB Dramaga Campus.

“The existence of this Student Service Center (SSC) is based on the fact that students should get easy education and student administration services. This is in line with the Quick Win’s bureaucratic reform. “SSC opens both offline and online services,” said the Student Service Center (SSC) Manager who is also the Head of the Internal Relations and Information Services Sub-Section, Public Relations Section, IPB Communication Bureau, Aris Solikhah, S.TP, M.M.

Meanwhile, Head of the Sub-Directorate of Student Welfare, Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development of IPB, Dr. Dra. Yusalina, M.Sc said that IPB always sought solutions to the problems of student welfare. “We strive to improve the quality of student welfare every year,” she explained.

Also present were the Head of Sub-Directorate of Character Development of the Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development of IPB, Beginer Subhan, S.Pi, M.Sc, Head of Public Relations, Communication Bureau of IPB, Siti Nuryati, STP, M.Sc., Head of Class, Board of Regional Student Organizations (OMDA) and representatives from BEM especially the welfare department of students of each faculty in IPB.
