10 Succeed Young Alumni of IPB Motivate New Students

Dormitory of the General Competency Education Program (PPKU) in collaboration with the Directorate of Alumni Cooperation and Relations (DKHA) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) presents ten young alumni who have successfully worked after graduation. They are Rizal Fahreza, Indra Sugiarto, Bayu Mukti Anggara, Prima Gandhi, Annisa Hasanah, Azka Lathifa Zahratu Azra, Titis Apdini, Faradila Danasworo Putri, Devi Novi Astuti, and Alfi Irfan. The young alumni of IPB was divided into 10 PPKU Dormitory Buildings in Dramaga Campus of IPB, Bogor to be a speaker at the Alumni Talk event: "Social Gathering Gedung (SoDung)" (14/11).

Alfi Irfan, CEO of Agrisocio in his presentation said that with this sharing forum, alumni can share experiences that have been experienced to reach the current position.

Meanwhile, Faradila Danasworo Putri said that lecturing at IPB gave students the opportunity to develop their potential. "I learned from IPB to manage time, both between organizations and also achievements," he said.

The young alumni of IPB who were present at SoDung as guest speakers were formerly from student activists, students who excelled academically and alumni who had won various competitions for student affairs.

SoDung is a routine activity for PPKU Dormitory people. This activity is carried out in each dormitory building by inviting guest speakers. SoDung activities aim to provide interactive space and enrichment of information for all dormitory people in one building. The SoDung material is generally more emphasized on giving the latest motivation, adaptation and information sharing that refers to the development and strengthening of the character of the dormitory occupants.

Dr. Zaenal Abidin, Assistant Director of PPKU IPB said that currently IPB is encouraging the implementation of character education. With this SoDung Dr. Zaenal hopes that PPKU students will become more familiar with their classmates, increasingly convinced of their choice to become IPB students, have high motivation in learning, have a broad perspective in addressing various things and character.

Meanwhile, Dr. Heti Mulyati as Director of Cooperation and Alumni Relations of IPB also hopes that this activity will become a bridge between PPKU alumni and students so that students are more proud to be part of the IPB family. (SM / Zul)
