Open House 55, New Students Start to Choose Activities Outside of Academic

New students of the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) enjoyed the Open House 55 at the Dramaga Campus of IPB, Bogor (15/9). Open House 55 was an exhibition of Student Organizations (Ormawa) in IPB. This activity was held by the General Competency Education Program (PPKU) of the Student Representative Council (DPM) of IPB.

The activity which is routinely held annually was attended by 64 ormawa stands consisting of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of each faculty, Student Activity Unit (UKM), Professional Association (Himpro) and the community.

Open House 55 was officially opened along with all other performances gathered in Agrisymphony by the IPB Rector, Dr. Arif Satria.

"Open House 55 wants to introduce all IPB student organizations to new students in class 55. We also present the Expectro theme which features all the colorful activities of IPB student affairs. Even though we all consist of various student organizations, we can unite in this Open House 55 this year," said Eka Dwi Anggara Purba who was the Chief Executive of Open House 55.

The Open House 55 also featured several works by IPB students who won the National Student Scientific Week in 2018. In addition, the event was also enlivened by a parade of stand fillers and performances in the form of traditional and modern arts on the main stage located on the IPB Gladiator stage. (KD/Zul/ZSP)
