IPB Teaching Staffs Holds Debate for Fortendik Chairman Candidates
The Election Committee for the Chairman Candidates of Teaching Staffs Forum (Fortendik) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), held a debate for Fortendik Chairman Candidates for 2018-2020 term. The debate took place in Andi Hakim Nasution Auditorium, IPB Dramaga Campus, Thursday (16/8).
The head of the committee, Ir. Setyo Edy Susanto, S.Th.I., M.Pd disclosed the selection result from the committee. Five candidates were chosen, which are: Ir. Rita Komalasari from IPB Library, Roesdi Trijadhi from IPB Archives Unit, Sofyan, S.Si, M.Si from Faculty of Animal Sciences, Ir. Titi Riani, M. Biomed from Faculty of Human Ecology, and Vera Nora Indra Astuti, S.Pt, M.M from IPB Graduate Schools. "We hope every IPB teaching staff can participate in the election on August 23, 2018, 08:00-13:00 in Graha Widya Wisuda, IPB Dramaga Campus. The campaign ran on August 14-20, 2018. The quiet period was on August 21-22 2018. We hope that the teaching staffs can be more united, for the sake of our togetherness and welfare," said Edy.
According to him, five candidates were chosen from the total nine suggested by IPB work units and faculties. "Six from faculties, one from Graduate Schools, and two from IPB supporting unites (library and archives unit). The candidates have undergone portfolio selection, presentation, and interview," explained Edy.
In that opportunity, the five candidates will have a debate. The five candidates are all Indonesian citizens, physically and emotionally healthy, have strong commitment to improve IPB teaching staffs, are between 35 and 55 years old by September 1, 2018, not having position as a structural staff in IPB or Trustee Assembly (MWA), are at least high school graduate, have a civil servant status and not on duty as the committee for the election. The prerequisites to vote include being an Indonesian citizen, civil servant and non-civil servant teaching staffs registered in Human Resource Directorate IPB, and are registered in the voters list.
