TropBRC IPB Contribution in Organic Ginger Cultivation

Center for Tropical Biopharmacy Studies (Trop BRC) Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), represented by Dr. Waras Nurcholis, SSi, MSi and Head of LPPM IPB Dr. Ir. Aji Hermawan attended the Organic Temulawak Harvest (27/7) at SOHO Center of Excellence in Herbal Research (SCEHR), Nagrak, Sukabumi.

This activity is a collaboration between PT. SOHO with IPB (in this case TropBRC), Sukabumi District Government and Gabungan Kelompok Tani (Gapoktan) Kemuning Jaya Nagrak which refers to the concept of ABGC (Academician, Business, Goverment, Community).

In addition to focusing on the development of temulawak, SCEHR also collaborates with IPB to train farmers on how to cultivate temulawak in a good way so that the results are qualified and meet with the quality standards of PT. SOHO. Hopefully, temulawak based products of PT. SOHO, which cultivated from organic cultivation, can provide efficacy and safety to improve the health of the people. (FM)
