SHU of “Teko Sumodiwirjo Cooperative”, the Second Largest Employee Cooperative in Bogor
Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia (Republic of Indonesia Employee Cooperative) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), "Teko Sumodiwirjo", organized Annual Meeting for its members, in Auditorium Toyyib Hadiwijaya, IPB Campus, Dramaga, on 23 March 2018. Dr. Ir. Irsal Las as Chairman of the Cooperative Employees of the Republic of Indonesia (PKPRI) grace the occasion and presented his remarks for this special event.
"Teko Sumodiwirjo Cooperative” is the 21st cooperative among 41 cooperatives in the city of Bogor. I congratulate on the progress and success of the Executive Boards in running the cooperative of IPB. Sisa Hasil Usaha (SHU) of the cooperative is a sum of money paid to shareholder of co-operation) out of earnings or dividend is the indicator of a successful running of the cooperative. Balance of SHU of "Teko Sumodiwirjo Cooperative” was about 42 percent of total revenue. This is the second largest after the Bogor City PMI Cooperative," he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of "Teko Sumodiwirjo Cooperative”, Dr. Ir. Ir. Ma'mun Sarma, SE. MM, said that SHU of "Teko Sumodiwirjo Cooperative” in 2017 reached Rp. 659,894,762. This SHU will be allocated for members' welfare, education and social funding.
"In its Annual Work Program for 2018, the cooperative will increase the death compensation for its members who died from total amount Rp. 1.500.000 into Rp. 2,000,000. There is an increase of 500 thousand rupiah," he said.
In addition, "Teko Sumodiwirjo Cooperative” will also allocate a total fund of Rp 15 million for education funding support for its members. For son or daughter of member who made better academic achievement and need funding assistance, they are eligible to apply for education funding support amounted to Rp 500 thousand/person for junior high school, and Rp 700 thousand/person for high school.
Moreover, the "Teko Sumodiwirjo Cooperative” will also allocate Rp 7 million for its environment development around its location.
