IPB organized a “Training on Hajj and Umrah 2018”, Dr Amin: the Key to the Excellence of Hajj Pilgrimage is Happiness
Prosperity Council of Mosques (DKM) of Al-Hurriyyah, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) organized a "Training on Hajj and Umrah 2018", on Friday, 9 February 2018. The event that was held in Al-Hurriyyah Mosque, IPB campus, Dramaga, Bogor. The aims of the training is to improve the knowledge of IPB's academic members who will perform the Hajj and Umrah. Present in the Training was Dr. drh. Ahmad Arif Amin who is also Lecturer of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bogor Agricultural University (FKH IPB).
"Performing the Hajj and Umrah is not scary. With purified soul, he said, one will always look inward and make improvements. Purifying the soul means carrying out all the commandments and refraining from His prohibitions, as well as practising the concept of piety. "Because the best of preparation is piety," he said.
Dr. Amin explained, performing the Hajj is the spiritual apex of a Muslim's life, one that provides a clear understanding of his relationship with God and his place on Earth. It imparts in a Muslim not only the assurance that he has performed the fifth pillar of Islam by following in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), but also the realization that he is part of an ummah (nation) that is more than one billion strong and spreads across the globe. Umrah is a way of worshipping Allah by making Tawaf of the Ka’bah and Sayi between "Pray all the time and devote all his energy and effort to go to the Holy Land. Mount Safa and Marwa and shaving or cutting Hair. We must surrender our life and death to God. Hold emotions, always remember and return intentions only to worship God. Take care of the behaviour. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) here advises the young of the Muslim society, who will be tomorrow’s elderly, to honor the elderly. It can also perfect our pilgrimage, "he explained.
Furthermore he said, usually every pilgrims and umroh will prepare all the equipment and needs during there. However, he said, that the best supplies to the Baitullah is piety. (Wied)
