"In the past we it’s rather difficult to invest or buy stocks with a hundred thousand rupiah, you could either use this cash to buy more shares or go spend it any way you see fit.  Now, in today's world with discount brokerage firms, students could buy as little as one share, but the trade would still prospective. This is very helpful for students to start investing with a minimum budget of one hundred thousand rupiah per month, "he said.

Dean of FEM IPB, Prof. Dr. Yusman Syaukat,  said that the cooperation of IPB especially FEM IPB with MNC Sekuritas started since 2016. "We as lecturers only talk about the Capital Asset Pricing Model, but no practical work on this subject. Such cooperation we hope will enable students to do the practical work on the capital market directly here, "Prof. Yusman said.

Chairman of the Department of Management of FEM IPB, Dr. Mukhamad Najib, explained that previously several agencies also proposed such kind of cooperation. "However, in the end we chose the syariah capital market as it is considered more universal. Both Muslims as well as non-Muslims can participate in transactions, "he explained.
