A Group of Students of IPB Created ‘Seratus Hari Membingkai Asa: Cindera Mata untuk Negeriku’ Program for Pancasila Revitalization
Radicalism, SARA (Tribe, Religious, Race, Inter-Group) discrimination, and current intolerance are common in Indonesia. Children have the highest risk of adverse behaviour. To counteract this, then this nation must re-embed values that are rooted in the culture and national identity. Pancasila as the basis of the state is the right guideline in overcoming the degradation of nationalism and morals. The family has a very important role of instilling the values of Pancasila in children. However, as many as 2.8 million children in Indonesia are in a condition without family. Therefore, it takes an effort of instilling the values of Pancasila to the children in the orphanage.
"100 Days of Framing Asa: Souvenirs for My Country" is a mixed program that is focused on the practice of Pancasila through a range of appealing and fun activities. The goal of this program is to efforts to internalize values of Pancasila in children in Kosgoro Children's Nursery (PSAA), said Latiful Akbar. The process of implementing the values of Pancasila is carried out through the movement of Pancasila transformation from the thematic categories (concepts and theories) to imperative categories (in the form of norms) and operative categories (in the form of life practices) pursued creatively and dynamically. Student Creativity Program for Community Service (PKM M) was initiated by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) students consisting of: Latiful Akbar, Engkay, Elena Theana and Ade Aliyya P.S. PKM M is guided by faculty member of IPB, Mr. Hirmas Fuady Putra, Ssi, M.Si.
The methods utilized for this program are socialization, education, practice, and festival. Education is conducted through "100 Days Framing Asa" activities. The program includes ten core activities as the elaboration for Pancasila principles and were implemented with thematic concepts. The achieved results are the increasing knowledge and practice of Pancasila in children. The resulting output includes the educational media of Pancasila attractive which are consisted of the following books: "Cinta Pancasila" and "Cindera Mata untuk Negeriku"; IndoLab educational game; disquette on "From Kami untuk Negeriku", and execution guidelines is available in book and software for Smart phone. The output can will support and provide guidance for children in instilling Pancasila values. The cultivation of Pancasila values is very important so that children have an attitude that is in line with the values, expected values of pancasila became more powerful in Indonesian society, norms and culture of the nation and won’t be affected by negative influences.
