The Visit of IPB Jumling Team to Cibanteng Village
The Jumat Keliling (Jumling Friday Team) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) arrived at Cibanteng Village, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency, Friday, 4 August 2017. The present program of the Jumat Keliling was organizing the Training Course on Hygiene and Sanitation, for 15 Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) of Household Food Industry. The Jumling team of IPB program in Cibanteng Village, was centralized in Cibanteng Village office, jalan Gunung Leutik, Kampung Pabuaran Sawah.
The Head of Cibanteng Village, Warso, S. Sos, expressed his gratitude to IPB as the university decided to establish partnership program and self-sufficiency plan under Jumling team of IPB. According to him, Jumling team of IPB has encourage social participation of communities especially to tighten the bonds, and to provide assistance and guidance to Cibanteng for agricultural development in the broad sense.
He said that IPB has been assisting Cibanteng communities not only in the coaching and guidance in the agricultural sector, but IPB has provided cash donations for orphans every of Ramadan month and during the implementation of Jumling.
"I expected that we may expand our relationships, IPB will continue to assist and encourage this activity to be sustainable in the future. He expected that IPB continues to provide coaching programs, training courses, and motivation for the communities of villages around the campus. The programs will lead communities around the campus to improve their welfare and for better life, "he explained.
Chairman of IPB Jumling Team of IPB, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM IPB), Prof. Dr. Yusman Syaukat, stated that IPB will continue to establish relationships with the communities around campus. "Because IPB is also part of the big communities of villages around the campus, it is appropriate that IPB gives attention, coaching and partnership for the progress and prosperity of communities of villages around the campus," he said.
Prof. Yusman said that IPB is really hope that the university will be beneficial for the communities of villages around the campus. "The communities of villages around the campus must learn and be able to pursue their study at IPB. Study hard, and continue to make achievements in school!, "he said.
The recent Jumling program was coincided with the socialization of the Prosperous Family Service Centre Program (PPKS) by Agrianita IPB. The next items of the Program was cash donations for 20 orphans; providing health equipment for Posyandu, learning tools for early childhood, Iqro book And the Qur'an for majelis taklim. Present in this activity include representatives of the Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) IPB, drh. Rahmat Hidayat, M.Si and Warcito, SP, MM; IPB Public Relations team, and Agrianita IPB. (Wied)
