Rector Inaugurates the New Building of FEM-IPB

Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) officially have a new building ready for use. It is located on Jalan Agatis, Darmaga campus of IPB, right on the right of the Green TV building. The handover of the construction of the new building of FEM IPB was marked by giving a signature to the inscription by Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto and simultaneously inaugurating the handover of the building from Rector to Dean of FEM IPB, Prof. Dr. Yusman Syaukat.

Dean of FEM IPB said the new building is planned to have seven wings, each of which has four floors, so it has 28 wings altogether. Additionally, an auditorium building will be constructed in front of the building of FEM IPB. "Thank God at this time we have built and used three wings, for the Dean of FEM, Department of Resource and Environmental Economics, and Department of Management Department," he said.

Rector hopes along with the development of education, certainly the facility, in this case, the building is one means to ensure the quality and quantity of the education in higher education. "Especially coupled with the increased number of students, teaching and learning in universities must certainly be well considered, for example the need and convenience of learning for users in it," he said.

Present at the inauguration of the building of FEM IPB  were Vice-Rector, Deans, Vice Deans, Directors / Heads of offices / Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Centers, Heads of Departments, lecturers, academic staff and students of FEM. (Mtd)
