P2SDM of LPPM of IPB Held the Sharing Session for Small Business Actors

Human Resource Development Center (P2SDM) of Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) again held the sharing session for the small business actors, Monday (5/12), in Auditorium of Abdul Muis Nasution, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta), Campus of IPB Darmaga Bogor. This activity was followed by around 200 participants consisting of the business actors around the campus of IPB, the business actors incorporated to the Stand of P2SDM of LPPM of IPB, and the students joined in the student program for entrepreneurs and community of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) of IPB.

Chairman of the Committee, Warcito, SP, MM, explained, the purpose of the sharing session was to provide the solutions for the problems faced by the small micro business. “The follow-up after this activity will be held by the small micro business incubation program through the training and mentoring,” he said.

Head of LPPM of IPB, Dr. Prastowo, said that after being given the training and mentoring, it was expected to create the micro business practices which was neat, clean, healthy and profitable. “LPPM of IPB will facilitate concretely in the field,” he said.

The event was coupled with the provision of motivation by Dr. Abdul Basith. “Everyone who wants to build a business or self-employment needs to build a business based on the social community. High creativity should be owned by each individual in the field cultivated, no exception in the world of entrepreneurship,” he said. (Awl)
