IPB as the Organizer for Village Assistant Admission Selection in 2016

Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB Bogor Agricultural University) is one of the State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia had been appointed directly as the organizer of Village Assistant Admission Selection in 2016 for West Java region by the Ministry of Rural, Rural Development and Transmigration Republic of Indonesia. The selection process  took place on 28 May  and 4 June 2016 at the IPB Campus, Dramaga, Bogor.

 

Chairman of the Village Assistant Admission Selection in 2016 for West Java, Dr. Zaenal Efendi, stated that state university played important role for this program as it is considered to be the most trustworthy institution (neutral). Moreover, he asserted that IPB was chosen as the venue for selection process, as IPB has been equipped by complete  infrastructure and equipment to carry out such program. Further, as IPB has appropriate supervisors for such test, thus the selection process for the Village Assistant Admission Selection in 2016 was well-implemented. 

 

Dr. Zaenal who is also head of Islamic Economic Studies Program of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM IPB) stated that among the  7,180 (seven thousand one hundred and eighty) applicants 4000 (four thousand) of them took the initial selection program. Out of those applicants 1,667 (one thousand six hundred sixty seven) of them were successfully selected to undertake the psychological test as their final test to be elected as professional Village Assistant ready to carry out their jobs to facilitate the development and empowerment of rural communities. 

 

"By organizing the Village Assistant Admission Selection in 2016, it is expected that IPB campus will be noted as campus for people in the future, and play its important role in the Community Development program. Election of the Village Assistance is actually identical to the competence of IPB, "said Dr Zaenal.

 

According to him, the professional Village Assistant for Regional, district and as well as sub-district is  strategically and importance position to determine the work performance of such program. To that end, the process of recruitment of professional Village Assistants must be carried out strictly to obtain the most the best required professional Village Assistants. (Wied)
