IPB and BPJS Control the Healthy Status of the University Community Members

Rector of Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB – Bogor Agricultural University), Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, and Director of Membership and Marketing of Social Security Provider (BPJS) for Health, Andayani Budi Lestari, SE, MM, AAK, signed the MoU on Wednesday, 18 May 2016, at the Meeting Room of Rector, Dramaga Campus, Bogor. Present in the  signing of of the MoU, were Vice Rector for Research and Cooperation of IPB, Prof. Dr. Anas Miftah Fauzi, and Director of BPJS for Health, Prof.Dr.dr. Fachmi Idris.
 
In his remarks, Rector stated that the signing of this agreement is an attempt to control  a good program, namely that the healthy Indonesian. According to the rector, I the  last few months BPJS for Health shows its progressive advancement.
 
BPJS for Health, explained rector, is the desire of students, as well as faculty and staff members of the university, of both members of government civil servants and non-civil servants for their health status. "It is an important instrument to ensure they will be healthy personnel of IPB," he said.
 
Yet, the Director of BPJS for Health expressed the concept of mutual cooperation nationally. "The healthy members of BPJS assist other members who are suffering illness," he explained.
 
He said, IPB has great potentiality to manage its health independently. To that end, IPB should have in-House clinics. Proper management of human resources is critical in providing a high quality of health care.  The nurse-patient ratio can be used to compare units and their patient must be balanced; approximately to maintain the required ratio of one doctor per 5,000 students or for 26 thousand students minimum five doctors will be needed," he concluded.
