Wisely Investing in Young Age

Directorate of Career Development and Alumni Relations (DPKHA), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in collaboration with PT. Pegadaian held the seminar with the theme of “Bijak Berinvestasi di Usia Muda / Wisely Investing in Young Age”. The event was held in Auditorium of Andi Hakim Nasoetion, Campus of IPB Dramaga Bogor (14/4).

 

Head of Sub Directorate of Alumni Relations of DPKHA of IPB, Dr. Andes Ismayana, said while they were young, our students should find out the information on how to invest. Therefore, this seminar became a new experience for the students on how to manage their own economies. 

 

Deputy of Business Area of Bogor of PT. Pegadaian, Herlin Maulida, explained the benefits of investing in gold. According to her, the gold was very attractive for investment because it was relatively stable against the inflation. 

 

The main resource person, Prita Hapsari Ghozie, SE. M.Com from Financial Planner ZAP Finance, conveyed the recommendation on how to manage the finance. She said, arranging the finance should be taught from childhood. In managing the finance, she suggested to issue 5 percent for charity, 80 percent for the cost of living and 15 percent for saving.
