Green TV organized the workshop with the theme of “Penggalian Ide Konten / Excavation of Idea of Content”, Tuesday (24/11), in IPB International Convention Center (IICC) Bogor. The activity was followed by the representative of each department in Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) presenting the resource person which was the member of Indonesian Press Council, Imam Wahyudi.

The activity was opened by Head of Green TV, Dr. Anna Fatchya, conveying that this activity was held in order to develop ideas and documentation of the research result of IPB in the form of audio-visual content. According to her, the production of Green TV would be constrained if no input from the work of faculty and students. One was the lack of information about any innovation that had produced by lecturers in each department.

“Therefore, Ladies and Gentlemen, we invited in addition to get the training on the drafting and exploring ideas, we also hope that you can act as the contact person which holds information on each department,” said Dr. Anna to the workshop participants.

“If there is an innovation in the department which wants to be documented you may contact Ladies and Gentlemen, for later we can document it in the form of audio-visual. With a system like this, we hope that the production will also be better,” hoped Dr. Anna.

Furthermore, Dr. Anna explained that Green TV was Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of IPB which acted as the content provider in the form of audio-visual. Therefore, Green TV prioritized the content coming from the innovation produced by students and lecturers of IPB.

In line with Dr. Anna, the resource person in this activity, Imam Wahyudi, conveyed that as the content provider, the content was the most important thing, regardless of the content was broadcasted on tv, website or other media. “IPB is like a jungle, in it there are a lot of things that we can meet, if Ladies and Gentlemen well understand better, we may be able to get the treasure from the library or on the shelves of books available,” explained Imam.

“Content is the king. If we could dig the content well, we can be a content provider that is not overtaken by other institutions,” he said. (as)
