IPB’s Directorate of Human Resources Holds Higher Education Management Training

Human Resources Directorate (DIT. SDM) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held a training followed by Heads of Sub-Directorates, Heads of Divisions, Heads of Sub-Divisions, Heads of Sections, and Heads of Administration Units of IPB. Entitled "Higher Education Management Training at Bogor Agricultural University", the activity took place on Thursday (1/10), at the Best Western Hotel of Bogor Icon, Bogor.

 

In this training, participants received training on the management of higher education with a case study in IPB. The material provided in this seminar includes among others, leadership development, information and technology management, performance management, college asset management, strategic planning and college governance.

 

One of the speakers in this training, the Director of Integration of Data and Information System (Didsi) of IPB, Dr. Idat Galih Permana discussed the strategic role of information and communication technology (ICT) in higher education management. According to him, the use of ICT in higher education is no longer an option, but it has become an absolute necessity to be possessed and used strategically in order to improve the education quality. "An integrated information system that supports IPB performance is in the process of development. We hope in 2016 it can be implemented," said Dr. Idat.
