FPIK IPB Organized Training Course on Processing of Fishery Products

Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences of Bogor Agricultural University (FPIK IPB) in collaboration with the Program Mitra Bahari of the Marine and Fishery Services of West Java Province organized the Training Course on “Processing of Fishery Products " in Indramayu, West Java, on Thursday, 20 August 2015. This course was participated by 25 participants who were constituted of fish processing business in Indramayu.

 

"Participants were trained how to produce fish balls, fish sausages, fish brownies dawet fish," said Dr. Roza, as member of the Organizing Committee. The training course materials were provided by Ir. Djoko Purnomo, a faulty member of the Department of Fisheries Product Technology of FPIK IPB.

 

The Dean of FPIK IPB, Prof..Dr Indra Jaya; Head of the Department of Marine and Fishery of the Marine Services of West Java, and Head of the Department of Marine and Fishery Services of Indramayu District attended the special occasion. Similar activities were also organized in other different places, namely Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java and Karawang. (Wied)
