Harmony of Tanah Pakuan: Special Launching of Jingle of Bogohka Bogor

Student Choir (PSM) of AgriaSwara, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), organized the art appreciation evening and the fundraising titled “Harmoni Tanah Pakuan: Special Launching Jingle Bogohka Bogor / Harmony of Tanah Pakjuan: Special Launching of Jingle of Bogohka Bogor”. This art show was held in Bogor City Hall, Saturday (8/8).

 

This activity was officially opened by Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs of IPB, Prof.Dr. Yonny Koesmaryono. In his speech, Prof. Yonny said, “We appreciate this activity, remarkable. This activity is aimed at lifting the Indonesian culture, including Bogor. No matter where it goes, the students will always remember this Tanah Pakuan. Then we expect the support of Mayor and Deputy Mayor so much. Hopefully, all components of the society of Bogor also support this activity, because IPB still carries the name of Bogor”.

 

This activity was also appreciated by Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Ir. Usmar Hariman, MM which was present in this art show. “Building character is not as easy as building a physical. Building character requires cultural, social and art approaches. Therefore, what our brothers do with their achievements, we welcome well. Because we feel confident with the artistic and cultured, then what we aspire to build the character of the community of Bogor in particular it can be achieved more quickly,” he said.

 

“Tonight I feel happy to see our brothers to perform up to the international level to achieve goals and scent of Indonesia, scent of Bogor and of course shape the character of the individuals involved in it,” added a man who was also the alumni of IPB to give appreciation.

 

This activity was one of a series of programs of PSM of AgriaSwara, “The 6th International Mission in Art and Culture” which would be held on 27 September to 9 October 2015 which included the international choir competition in Maasmechelen, Belgium and the cultural concert in Utrecht, Netherlands. PSM of AgriaSwara itself was Student Activity Unit (UKM) of IPB which was established in the year of 1986. UKM which was under guidance of Dr.drh. H.R.P. Agus Lelana had scored various proud achievements both at national and international levels. (AS)
