IPB Conferred 840 Graduates in April 2015 Graduation Day
Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) again produced and presented its current 840 graduates in the Open Session for the Graduation Day of Phase V for the Undergraduate, Professional Veterinarian, and Graduate Studies Program for Academic Year 2014/2015, on Wednesday, 29 April 2015, at Grha Widya Wisuda (GWW), Dramaga Campus, Bogor. The present graduation has added the total number of IPB graduates into 127,142 alumni.
Rector, Prof. Dr Herry Suhardiyanto, expected the graduates will prepare themselves to face the worst possible outcomes due to the uncertainty change situation. It is also expected that graduates must continuously improve their competences, including foreign language skills needed to cope with competition and competitive tighter in labor market.
Rector stated, "The role and contribution of IPB to respond the nation’s problems has been performed by educating students of becoming a globally competent student. Accordingly, recently IPB has established Business School for undergraduate business programs. The newly established Business School has added the existed Study Programs of IPB. Further, IPB will also establish the Vocational School which will utilize dual curriculum system in response of the mismatch Education problem. Finally, IPB will be consist to implement various research programs as its breakthroughs to produce a wide range of innovations and technologies, as well as policy proposals to strengthen the national food production systems ".
At the present commencement, IPB handed over graduate certificates for 30 doctoral degree holders, 139 Master of Science degree holders, 40 the Master of Management degree holders, 10 Professional Master holders, 39 Veterinary Professionals, and 583 Bachelor degree holders.

IPB has plenty of stock of "superior stuffs" to equip its students before they are ready to serve the communities. The qualified lecturers, heterogeneous friends, and adequate facilities. Competent faculty members in their fields cause students feel comfortable in learning and develop their potential. Moreover, they also shed light on the future of the work markets, and assist students to establish links with important related institutions. Finally they open students’ eyes future problems they will encounter to compete in the jobs markets.
IPB does not only equip students with scientific subjects, report writing, do their independent assignments, but also provide students to establish a good organization as well as to urge students to develop themselves and make friendships. At the first year, students were required to stay in a dorm with four-room mates in a room. There is also a great difference in students’ characters, they of course train students to adjust themselves to its milieu. The hectic and tight schedules for the School of Veterinary Medicine were heavy burdens for us. But we managed to overcome the burdens by joining student organization or other student extra curricular activities. (Wied)

MB IPB is my favorite campus, because I took my undergraduate program of this university. MB IPB is noted for its smart and focused learning system, and also hard work. It is the overview of the campus with high perfectionist. My classmates who were graduates from different universities, were surprised to learn the perfectionist in all assignments, exams and whatever assignments given to us. I experienced such kind of burdens since I Undertook my undergraduate study at IPB, thus, I was not surprised to have such tough situation at the MMB campus, and Alhamdulillah I could keep up with the high spirit to complete my study. In the thesis writing program, my supervisor was also very perfectionist so I was greatly helped to complete my thesis writing. IPB is not only noted as competence students producer, but also shape the topnotch attitude and personality of students. Finally, IPB always shapes character, thoughts, ideals, and undesperate students that always seeks the best for the nation. Long live, MB IPB!, Keep on producing the best graduate for the nation.

IPB is noted as the state university with better accreditation in Indonesia, therefore, I decided to pursue my doctoral degree program on Microbiology at this university. While studying at IPB, I did not only get knowledge and research experiences, but I also got important advices and guidances from the faculty members which become my victual future career as faculty members. Studying in IPB was quite heavy with tight schedules, laboratory work, preparing journal articles, presentations, and quizzes spur to finish my study on time. Supported by appropriate facilities, quiet situation and comfortable life, IPB campus is really conducive environment for me to study. IPB has shaped our characters, thoughts, ideals, and teach me to be undesperate person, keep seek to serve the best. Thanks to the entire academic communities of IPB who had assisted me finalize my doctoral degree program.
