Roadshow of PT BLST in FEM

In order to develop the innovation in the fied of economics and management, PT Bogor Life Science and Technology (PT BLST) held a roadshow to Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Wednesday (8/4). The activity that took place in the Meeting Room of FEM, Campus of IPB Dramaga Bogor, was a series of roadshow held in the cooperation of PT BLST with Vice Rector of Infrastructure and Business of IPB and Directorate of Business Development of IPB. 

 

Vice Rector of Infrastructure and Business of IPB, Dr. Arif Imam Suroso, explained that PT BLST was a business unit of IPB which was established as a form of University of BHMN which was now turned into University-Legal Entity (PTN BH). He added that PT BLST was established as a business unit and vehicle of IPB to become the income generating activities of IPB. “The core of this meeting is to explain that PT BLST is the business unit of IPB and owned by IPB,” he said.

 

In this meeting, it was conducted sharing and discussion, one of which was a plan of cooperation of PT BLST and FEM to develop Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat Syariah (BPRS) Bina Rahmah which was the unit of the part of PT BLST. The plan of FEM would cooperate with PT BLST in the realm of economics and management to incorporate the business entity at once portfolio of FEM itself.

 

Dean of FEM, Dr Yusman Syaukat, hoped that with this cooperation the contribution of educational staff and lecturers increased from prior periods. “We commit to utilize and bring up the facilities provided by IPB,” he asserted. 

 

Attending this meeting including Director of Business Development of IPB, Dr Agus Oman Sudrajat, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FEM, Dr Lukman Mohammad Baga, and Vice Dean of Resources, Cooperation and Development of FEM, Prof.Dr Muhammad Firdaus. (AS)
