Workshop on “Revitalization of the Hall of Agronomy of IPB”

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held a workshop themed of “Revitalisasi Aula Agronomi IPB / Revitalization of the Hall of Agronomy of IPB”, at IPB International Convention Center (IICC) Bogor, Thursday (19/3). Rector of IPB, Prof.Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, in his speech conveyed the support toward the plan and ideas for the revitalization of the Hall of Agronomy of Campus of IPB Baranangsiang. 

 

“Of paramount importance is that the architecture should not be changed, it should be the same as the original. And the main thing is the development later should not be managed by the other party, but it should be managed by IPB itself,” the Rector said.

 

Director of Development of Means and Infrastructure of IPB, Dr Erizal, said in this case not only to repair the building alone, but further than that, it was how to make use of and revive the Hall of Agronomy of Campus of IPB Baranangsiang to become more optimal. Dr. Erizal revealed, this Hall of Agronomy would be made the means of supporting education, the center of activities and meetings, and the creative economy. 

 

Meanwhile, Director of Bogor Life Science and Technology (BLST), Dr. Meika Syahbana Rusli, explained about Revitalization of Ex Hall of Agronomy of Campus of IPB Baranangsiang, which according to him would be integrated with the master plan of development of Campus of IPB Baranangsiang.

 

Joined in being present in this activity were including Vice Rector of Infrastructure and Business of IPB, Dr. Arif Imam Suroso, a number of representatives of Directorates, Bureaus, Offices and Faculties. (awl)
