Majelis Rektor PTNI Officially Welcome the Visit of the President of Hokkaido University

Majelis Rektor Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Indonesia (MRPTNI – Council of State Universities Rectors Indonesia) officially welcome the visit of President of Hokkaido University, Prof. Keizo Yamaguchi, on Friday, 6 March 2015,  at IPB International Convention Center (IICC), Bogor. The Hokkaido University President’s visit was officially greeted by the chairman of the MRPTNI, who is also Rector or Bogor Agricultural University, Prof.Dr.Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, MSc.

One of the itinerary of the program planned for this meeting was discussion led by the Rector of the University of Indonesia (UI), Prof. Dr Muhammad Anis. Included in the discussion was the 3rd Japan-Indonesia Rector’s Conference, which will be held in Hokkaido, Japan, this coming  November. The theme of the scheduled Rector’s Conference will be on "Collaboration in Research and Education for Sustainable Society".

A number of representatives of the State Universities of Indonesia  who are members MRPTNI participated in the meeting, among other were Rectors of UI, Yogyakarta State University, University of Sriwijaya, Hasanuddin University, Mulawarman, UNSYIAH, the University of Sebelas Maret, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, and the University of Halu Oleo, respectively. While, the President of Hokkaido University was accompanied by the Deputy Executive Director of the Office of International Affairs of Hokkaido University, Mr. So Kawanobe. (Wied).
