Directorate of the Development of Facilities and Infrastructures, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held the Socialization of State Property Management (BMN) and the Reconciliation of Assets at IPB Environment in the Ballroom of Braja Mustika Hotel (11/11). This activity was opened by Director of the Development of Facilities and Infrastructures, Dr. Ir. Erizal, M.Agr. This activity was attended by the representatives from the entire units of IPB environment. In this activity, it also presented the resource persons from State Property Office and Auction (KPKNL) of Bogor including Endah Fariana (Head of State Property Management Section), Ismarudin, and Pratisuryaningsih (Staff of Head of State Property Management Section).

Dr. Ir. Erizal, M.Agr stated, “Asset data reconciliation activities of IPB are very important. Hopefully in the future such activity can be more. IPB during this time is the university categorized as orderly administratively to keep records or inventory of asset data. Together with the officials from KPKNL we have done the reconcialiation of assets. Besides that, this event also becomes very important because there is a change in status of the higher education which is initially BHMN. Hopefully in the future it will be better with the release of PP 58 in the year of 2013 about Form and Funding Mechanism of Universities of Legal Entity and PP 66 in the year of 2013 about the Statute of Bogor Agricultural University.”

Endah Fariana explained about Public Policy of State Property Management. “The regulation regarding this BMN is quite dynamic and often fickle. Currently we refer to PP 27 in the year of 2014. The scope of BMN is the goods obtained at the expenses of APBN or the goods originating from the legitimate acquisition (from grant, donation or the kind). The management of BMN covers demand planning and budgeting, procurement, use, utilization, security and maintenance, valuation, alienation, extermination, deletion, administration, and development, monitoring and controlling of BMN,” she explained.

“Hopefully we can do this reconciliation well because we already have to report the asset data which will be used as the basis of the mandate in the last government regulation to be separated from the country’s assets. For that, it feels like IPB is not so difficult because in 2006 we has separated the assets belonging to IPB from the country’s own assets. Hopefully the direction of this KPKNL can be learned, drawn its knowledge so that the management of the state property and the asset data at IPB can be more orderly again,” closed Dr. Ir. Erizal, M.Agr. (RF)
