Office of Quality Management of IPB held the Workshop on the Assessment and Audit Results for Postgraduate Program and Diploma Program
Office of Quality Management of IPB held the workshop on the Assessment and Audit Results for Postgraduate Program and Diploma Program. The assessment and audit were followed by around 100 assessors and auditors. The event was conducted in the Assembly Room of BLST Taman Kencana, Bogor (23/10).
Head of the Office of Quality Management of IPB, Dr. Fredinand Yulianda, conveyed that in fact the numbers of assesors and auditors were still inadequate if you saw the work unit to be audited. This year, we went in to audit Postgraduate Program and Diploma Program.
"Assessors and auditors are taken from the educators and the education personnels. But because there are much busyness so from the numbers of 148 assessors and auditors stating that they are willing they are up to 100 people. This is the homework that at the moment the assessors and auditors are still option not obligation, we have not been able to push it to become an obligation and dedication. This is necessary to become the attention of the institution on how to give rewards to the auditors and assessors," he said.
Further delivered with the assessment and audit, it was expected that the implementation of academic and non academic could be measured, in order to improve the quantity and quality.
In terms of the standard compliance constraint it was still quite a lot for example facilities and infrastructures, student capacities, implementation of practices. At the moment in terms of the standard compliance of the academic of Undergraduate Program was more established compared to other programs.
Moreover, the assessment and audit results could become the reference for the management to make decision in repairing the next program.(dh)
