Anggi Putra Prayoga, the student of Water Resource Management of FPIK IPB, was indeed unique. Cycling hobby took him around Indonesia. In the event of Indonesian Mountainbike Tour, Anggi explored the richness and potential of nature and the culture (custom, habitual, confidence) which was typical of Indonesia. Not just cycling, Indonesian Mountainbike Tour included analysis, study, and opinion which emphasized on current environmental issues, facts, and directly in accordance with the actual conditions. Bicycles were used as the primary means of transportation used on all-terrain ranging from coastal plain until the top of the mountain, wilderness, urban, settlement, and other fields in Indonesia with the exception of sea.
 
Cycling activities which were not only adventurous however promoted the scientific values (scientific adventures) were acted by Anggi since September 2012 to July 2013. Anggi went around Indonesia by cycling himself. Starting from his dream since the beginning of his university, “In a classroom, I and my friends are asked by the lecturer. Before graduating with a degree of Scholar, what would you do? So I answer, I want to go around Indonesia by cycling,” he said recalling.
 
Determination of youth from Cianjur in the bicycle expedition in the archipelago was supported by himself that followed Student Society for Nature Lovers “Lawalata” IPB who had got the knowledge and lessons learned to survive when in the wild so that it made him more powerful and confident to stride. Not only for the physical and mental preparations, Anggi should also prepare the financial needs to support this bike trip. Financial assistance he got apart from IPB also from corporate sponsor. The traveling of youth who took time off university for a year for the sake of the ambition of going around Indonesia was starting from Campus of IPB, Bogor Dramaga and then continued to Cianjur-Bandung-Ciamis-Central Java-East Java-Bali-West Nusa Tenggara-East Nusa Tenggara-West Papua-Maluku Islands-Gorontalo-North Sulawesi-Central Sulawesi-East Kalimantan-Central Kalimantan-South Kalimantan–Weh Island-Aceh-North Sulawesi. “On this way, I learn and know about the life of the people of Indonesia who are rich in the treasures of wisdom. The hope after this event held, I can share insights and experiences in a long journey to put it in a book as a masterpiece of youth of Indonesia,” he said. (*)
