Korindo Provided the Scholarships to Students of IPB

Encouraged the Internationalization of Students of IPB

 

Korindo Foundation, a foundation coming from South Korea Country, provided scholarships to 5 students of Faculty of Forestry of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Batch 49, Tuesday, (22/10) in Campus of IPB Darmaga, Bogor. They who were getting the scholarships were Dewi Wulandari, Laela Nurahma, Christin Dela Prasetya, Esty Liani Agustiani, and Topik Hidayat. 

 

“On the average those who get this scholarships are the students of the Faculty of Forestry having the IPK above 3.00,” said Head of Sub Directorate of Student, Welfare Directorate of Student Affairs, Megawati Simanjuntak, SP, M.Si., at the event. 

 

Meanwhile, the Director of Student Affairs of IPB, Dr. Rinekso Soekmadi, MScF., said, with this scholarship it was expected to encourage the students to follow the international activity.

 

“They are very potential in that direction, I hope they can follow the international activities, such as student exchange, international seminar and so on,” he said. 

 

The scholarship was submitted by the Chairman of Korindo Foundation, Mulia Jaya, be witnessed  by the Director of Student Affairs of IPB, and the Head of Sub Directorate of Student Welfare of IPB. From the scholarship, one of which, the students got the allowance worth of 4 million rupiah. (man)
