"IPB Students should have resilience in the face of adversity and happiness. This strong mindset can only be acquired by learning process and observing good models. For example, if a lecturer asks students to write well, s/he should also be productive in writing, and give many cases of good models or examples, which can make IPB’s students quickly improve their skills and able to solve problems with  more than one solution.

In this away, the resilience of a student could outperform others," says Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, during a Workshop called "50 Years of Animal Husbandry Higher Education of Indonesia in Innovation and Technology Toward the Future" held as a series along with IPB Agriculture Expo 2013, one of IPB’s 50th  Anniversary agenda, (5/9). This activity was held in cooperation with Bank BRI.

This was echoed by Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry IPB, Dr.Ir. Luki Abdullah, who predicts that animal farm human resources (HR) by 2050 will drop by 50%. Therefore, according to him, it is very important to develop human resources of high quality to meet the challenges of animal farm developments. IPB’s Vice Rector of Resources and Strategic Studies, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hermanto Siregar, M.Ec said, "Livestock is one alternative sector for food security and state economy as well as to increase employment opportunities,  so there should be new breakthroughs in developing strategies to improve the quality of animal farm education".
