KPM IPB Holds Training of Public Relation Portal

Department of Communication Science and Community Development (SKPM), Faculty of Human Ecology (fema), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held a Traning of IPB Public Relations Portal in the Joint Wednesday Meeting room of theFaculty of Human Ecology, Darmaga campus of PB, (1/8). In his speech, Dean of the Faculty of Human Ecology, Dr.Ir. Arif Satria mentioned that one of the simplest things to get to the World Class University is the management of university, of which one aspect is that of website. It should be informative and bilingual. In this regard the Department has made a software for IPB PR Portal,  which is useful for tracking the activities held by IPB overall. 

 

"In terns of organizational communication, this may be a good start," he said.

 

According to Ir.Julio Adi Santoso, M. Kom, a trainer in the training, a Public Relations portal should be supported by all units in IPB. Additionally this portal can be an excellent promotion means for the departments, faculties or working units by providing inputs of data on events, news, and announcements already present in the portal content. 

 

Trainees are expected to actively enter the data from each working unit. In this way the benefits will be felt by many parties, both internal and external. With this facility, we can find the latest information on the activities of IPB. (Mtd)
