We’ll take you to the traditional markets and you will understand the economic situation in Indonesia ". Dr. Yusman symbolically opened the program with putting a name tag on one of the participants. A souvenir was also submitted from The University of Adelaide to IPB by Dr. Nathan Gray, Adjunct Business School Lecturer and Current Chairman of the Australia Indonesia Business Council to Prof. Dr. Anas Miftah Fauzi, M.Eng.

Dr. Ir. R. At present we have designed this Summer program on the topic of the Indonesian Economy: Current conditions and what it is like in the future because we see Indonesia have good relations with Australia, and Australia considers Indonesia as an important partner. Therefore, early we can provide knowledge about the Indonesian economy in the form of lectures, and then there will be visits to some places of economic activity and visits to the ministries and government institutions ".

"We hope that given this summer program at IPB at least students will have some experience of taking lectures in IPB despite taking only one week and then they we’ll talk about IPB to their colleagues in Adelaide and we expect the first year of the summer program will be followed by activities in subsequent years ", added Dr. Ir. R. Nunung Nuryartono, M.Sc. (Mtd)
