IPB Rector Inaugurates 23 New Officials
Rector of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Prof.Dr.Ir.Herry Suhardiyanto inducted 23 new officials in the official inauguration ceremony in IPB, Friday (5/7). "In general, the establishment of the officials refers to the aspects of competence, dedication, loyalty, track record, and capacity to work synergistically with IPB management and experience," said Rector.
In his speech, Rector said to have proposed the 2014-2018 Strategic Plan, a part of the IPB Development Plan up to 2025, to the Board of Trustees. IPB’s formulated vision year 2014-2018 gives an emphasis on IPB’s role in mainstreaming agriculture, namely ‘Being a Research -Based Higher Education of International Standard and a Prime Mover in Mainstreaming Agriculture. "To the newly appointed officials, I want you all to translate IPB’s vision into programs and activities coordinated in each working unit within IPB," said Rector.
He also invites the new officials to make a sharp improvement in the performance and accomplishments that have so far been achieved. The 23 sworn officers are: Secretary of the Institute, Dr. Ir. Ibnul Qayim; Head of Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM), Dr. Ir. Prastowo; Vice Head of LPPM for Research, Prof. Agik Suprayogi; Vice Head of LPPM for Community Service, Dr. Hartoyo; Director of the First-Year Common Preparation Program, Dr. Bonny PW Soekarno; Director of Administration, Dr. Drajat Martianto; Director of Academic Program Development, Ir.
