Tax Centers of IPB and UI were the Most Active
Diploma IPB extended the cooperation of Tax Center with Tax Directorate General Regional Office of DJP West Java that initially 2 years to 5 years. This was revealed in the sigining of Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides held in the lobby of Administration Building of Campus of Diploma IPB, (1/5).
Director of Diploma Program of IPB, Prof. Dr. Zairin Junior, said thank you for the trust to extend the cooperation of Tax Center within 5 years. During the two years of cooperation, IPB had been running the activities of socialization and extension of taxation in the students of Diploma IPB. In addition, the socialization was also presented as the socialization of taxation on the business actor of Bogor city. Not only that, Prof. Zairin also conveyed not only among students, the lecturers also took an active role in providing inputs and research related to taxation.
Meanwhile, Head of Regional Tax Office DJP of West Java, Dr. Andi Prajitno, in his speech delivered that tax was the most effective distribution tool for development. Through this tax, it had sustained 75% from APBN. Moreover, this Tax Center was the container to accommodate which should be delivered to the taxpayer, it was expected that the society of state university with excellence in academics could promote the development through tax. Tax Center was also the container for the activities of assessment, research, socialization and discusion to create the awareness of taxation. Tax Centers for IPB and UI were the most active tax centers. At the moment, Tax Directorate General had about 201 tax centers thoughout Indonesia. (dh)
