Demonstration of English Language in Faculty of Agricultural Technology
Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FATETA) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held Rabuan Bersama (17/4). This activity was held in Auditorium Abdul Moeis Nasoetion (AMN). There was a different thing in the implementation of this Rabuan Bersama. In order to make FATETA ready to support IPB as the World Class University, the staff of FATETA demonstrated the result of English language training. FATETA organized the course of cooperation with the Quali International. Total employees who followed this course were as many as 35 people and 20 people were ongoing.
“Thank you for your presence in this Rabuan Bersama, especially the friends from the committee who will appear to demonstrate the result of English language learning during this time. This hopefully encourages us all to prepare ourselves and encourage the internationalization of IPB to become the world class university,” said the Dean of FATETA, Dr. Ir. Sam Herodian, MS.
“There are changes in the staff of FATETA, they can apply English language directly at work. One example is a driver from the faculty, who is able to communicate using English when picking up the international guest or the foreign student that visits IPB. In addition, the administration officials and the dean, when there is a call in using English language, can explain using English language”, said Dr. Ir. Sam Herodian, MS.
Besides the Demonstration of English Language, the event of this Rabuan Bersama also presented about the academic report submitted by the Vice Dean of FATETA, Dr. Ir. Sugiyono, M.App.Sc. The report generally included the input of SNMPTN 2013, the value of Teaching Learning Process Evaluation (EPBM) of the Lecturer in respectively Department in FATETA, the exposure of the customer survey result conducted to find out how well was the service to the student, the coaching of the Student Creativity Program (PKM) in order to improve the achievement of gold in the National Student Science Week (PIMNAS), the announcement of teacher achievement, and the academic staff in FATETA.
