RW 07 at Babakan Village, Dramaga Sub-district, Bogor District, managed to achieve 1st Winner of the Cleanliness Competition, organized by the Institute of Research and Community Empowerment (LPPM) IPB, in the year of 2012.

The competition conducted in order of the 49th Dies Natalis IPB, followed by two RW, i.e. RW 01 and RW 07, which was in charge of 8 RT. The assessment conducted covered the cleanliness of the environment, the waste disposal, and the waste management, and so on.

Chairman of RW 07, Ade Supriyatna, said that the achievement was the result of hard work from all residents of RW 07 in cleaning the environment. “We do the work not only of the mutual aid in the face of the competition, but on another day we did as well,” he said.

Admittedly, the togetherness in building the environment was very important, especially to motivate the residents to organize and clean up the environment. The achievement could not be achieved without the support and cooperation that existed in the community.  He also requested that other residents kept clean up each environment, at least in the domestic environment. Not only that, by applying a clean lifestyle, it was a step to support the establishment of a Clean and Healthy City.  “I hope other environments can replicate RW 07 and the area around RW 07 can be a clean area. I also hope that this cleanliness competition program can be sustained,” he hoped. (man)
