Cooperation of Agriculture Faculty- IPB and UTM Malaysia

Faculty of Agriculture-IPB collaborating with University of Technology Mara, Malaysia stages the First International Plantation Conference with the theme "Capacity Building Development and Sustainable Technology". The event was held for two days at IPB International Convention Center, Bogor, (20/12) and attended by researchers, palm entrepreneurs and students from both institutions.  
 
IPB Rector, taking the opportunity to be present in the conference, said that the technological sustainability in the development of plantation raised through the collaborative conference is an important issue, the main concern of IPB and the University of Mara.

"I really appreciate the initiative of Faculty of Agriculture IPB and the University of Mara. This collaborative conference shows the role of academic institutions, governments and researchers in contributing to the growth and development of the plantation sector. Meanwhile, Myagri’s Group Managing Director, Norhayati Binti Md Taib presented how Myagri fertilizer has successfully in increased the production of palm oil plantation companies in Malaysia. (Mtd)
